This set includes a ballpoint pen and a letter opener with matching blanks. These blanks are special, however. They are made wood from the Royal Sandringham Estate in England.
The wood comes from the trimming of trees (a procedure to keep them healthy) and not from cutting them down. If you don’t like the idea of trees being harmed in the process of creating things, then you will enjoy this set.
As if the wood wasn’t regal enough, your pen comes with a 7/16″ clear crystal atop the end of it. This size means the crystal is big enough to be seen but not big enough to be gaudy. You open the pen by turning the cabochon holding the crystal.
Additionally, you will also be pleased to know that your pen is very light and well-balanced. The letter opener fits well in your hand and is easy to use.
